Johnny Lever
Johnny Lever is a pioneering Indian actor and comedian recognized as one of the first stand-up comedians in India. After beginning his career with musical shows and world tours, he achieved a major milestone with his breakthrough performance in Baazigar (1993), eventually appearing in over 300 films throughout his prolific career. He has worked with legendary directors such as Abbas-Mustan, Karan Johar, and Rakesh Roshan, sharing the screen with superstars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Amitabh Bachchan. His excellence in comedy has been recognized with two Filmfare Awards for Best Performance in a Comic Role for Deewana Mastana and Dulhe Raja, alongside numerous nominations. A global performer, he has conducted thousands of live shows in countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. Currently, he remains a highly active figure in the entertainment industry, continuing to act in major film productions and performing live stand-up comedy sets across the world.
