Hansraj Hans
Hansraj Hans is a celebrated Indian singer and politician recognised for his mastery of Sufi music and Punjabi folk. A student of Ustad Puran Shahoti, he has built a vast discography featuring hundreds of songs across dozens of albums and notable Bollywood playbacks in films such as Kachche Dhaage, Bichhoo, and Nayak. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with legendary composers like A.R. Rahman and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and his voice has been featured in projects starring major actors such as Ajay Devgn and Bobby Deol. His immense cultural impact has been recognized with the Padma Shri (2008), the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, and the Punjab State Award. A globally renowned performer, he has toured extensively in countries including the USA, Canada, the UK, and various nations across Europe and the Middle East. Currently, he serves as a prominent political leader and is a Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha) representing the North West Delhi constituency.
