Dr. Annu Kapoor
Dr. Annu Kapoor is a versatile Indian actor, singer, director, and radio jockey with a career spanning over 45 years. A graduate of the National School of Drama, he has appeared in over 100 films and is widely celebrated for hosting the iconic musical show Antakshari (1993–2006). Throughout his prolific career, he has worked with legendary directors such as Shyam Benegal, Yash Chopra, Shekhar Kapur, and Shoojit Sircar, sharing the screen with stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah, Anil Kapoor, and Akshay Kumar. His notable milestones include a transformative performance in Vicky Donor (2012), which won him both the National Film Award and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor, and his directorial debut Abhay (1994), which earned the National Film Award for Best Children's Film. Currently, he remains active in the entertainment industry as a film and television actor, while also hosting the popular radio show Suhaana Safar with Annu Kapoor on 92.7 Big FM.
